What are the requirements for applying for Fire No Objection Certificate?

a) Provisional Fire No Objection Certificate

i. Application for Fire Noc

ii. Checklist duly filled

iii.5 sets of plans of all floors including Sectional Elevation showing the height of the building and duly earmarking the open spaces all round the building and abutting road width, staircases with width, Fire Safety Measures as per table 23 of part 4 NBC of India 2005.

iv.A Non-refundable fire precaution fee @Rs.10/- per square metre for total builtup area including basement and stilt in the form of a challan payable at GHMC Head Office, Tank Bund Road, Hyderabad under the Head of Account 14050-17 of GHMC.

v. 10% of fire precaution fee in the form of user charges Challan under the Receipt Head of account of GHMC, 14050-17(Fire Extinguish Charges) to be paid at GHMC HO.

vi. 15% of the estimated cost of the fire safety installation and equipment in the form of Bank 
Guarantee dra wn on any Nationalised bank for a period of 5 years guaranteeing the provision and satisfactory maintenance of fire safety measures.

vii.An undertaking on Rs.100/- Stamp paper (Form 17 of Fire And Emergency Operations and Levy of Fee Rules 2006) Note: Formats for I, ii, vii can be downloaded from the GHMC website.

b) Final Fire No Objection Certificate 

i)Form No.19 of Fire And Emergency Operations and Levy of Fee Rules 2006(Provide updated 
information which shall reflect the as-installed and as-built status at site and shall be signed by 
authorized technical persons)
ii) Concerned checklist duly filled-in
iii)Make 4 copies of Provisional NOC drawings, clearly showing the as-built and corrections, if any. These 
must be certified by competent architect and engineer.
iv) Details of fire safety equipment installed

As per the provisions of A.P.Fire Service Act 1999 and Fire And Emergency Operations and Levy of Fee Rules 2006 and in the interest of life and fire safety of people it is recommended to obtain No Objection certificate from the GHMC. Action can be initiated as per Section 31 of the A.P.Fire Service Act 1999.

i. Provisional No Objection Certificate to proposed construction of buildings of public congregation like schools, cinema halls, function halls, religious places which are more than 500 Sq. Meters in plot area or 6 meters and above and below 15 meters in height before construction of the building

ii. Final No Objection certificate to the buildings of public congregation like schools, cinema halls, function halls, religious places which are more than 500 Sq. Meters in plot area or 6 metres and above in height after completion of the construction.

iii.  Fire No objection certificate to existing Non-high rise (Height below 15 meters)

Interested buyers can come and pick up objects of art directly from the artisans without having to deal with the middlemen.
Every season at Shilparamam brings with it the atmosphere of festivity and an occasion to celebrate. Here, Indian festivals are celebrated in the most conventional way and these festivals bring together talented people from all over the globe. As you go further inside, you can enjoy boating facility in a small artificial lake. The lake offers both peddling and rowing boats. Shilparamam is the perfect place to take a day off from your busy city life.
Durgam Cheruvu — located in the vicinity of Madhapur — is a lake surrounded by huge rocks, popularly known as the Hyderabad rocks and dating back a few centuries. The place provides the visitors with pedal boating facilities before the sunset, organized by the APTDC. Don’t forget to take a dekko at the Hi-Tech City on the way! Another attraction at Madhapur beyond Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad is the 30-acre village, which showcases arts and crafts of the country. India is an ocean of various arts and crafts but the talent of most of the artisans and artists goes unrecognized. To encourage them and give the necessary boost to their art, the crafts village hosts annual bazaars, where artists and artisans from all over the country exhibit their talent.
About Shilparamam 
Less than an hour's drive from the city of Hyderabad is Shilparamam, a crafts village where, throughout the year, there are a series of cultural events. Shilparamam plays host to myrid traditions of arts and crafts of India. This is a home to thousands of visiting artisians, a temple to thousands of performing artistes and a breath of fresh air to lakhs of art and craft lovers.
A Cultural Center 
It is spread over 50 acres of land. The vast expanse of land of this enchanting village is a gift of the Andhra Pradesh government to the South Zone Cultural Centre. In its complete form, Shilparamam will have Crafts Museum, Cultural Museum, Art Gallery & Library, Multi-purpose Auditorium, Common Facility Workshops, Research & Design Center, Dormitory accommodation for participating or visiting persons and artists & Rest Houses.
Annual Festivals 
Since 1995, an annual festival of arts and crafts is conducted in the first two weeks of March every year when artisans are invited from all over the country. Cultural activities are also held during the ten days of Dussehra in October and during the Sankrant Sandadi festival of harvest in January. Here Indian festivals are celebrated in the most traditional way and unique festivals bring together talents from the world over. The festivals of Shilparamam include as The International Kite Festival, Navarathri, South India Festival, Sankranthi Sandadi, Ugadi, Annual Crafts Festival etc.
The Hyderabad Haat
The crafts fair is organised once a month bringing exclusive crafts from different States of the Country. And through the recently started GRIHA BHOJAN Centre, the most diverse of traditional native delicacies of various cultures are cooked and served by women in the most traditional way.
Other Attractions Within Shilparamam
At the heart of this picturesque crafts village, is an amphi theatre that has staged performances ranging from classical music concerts to flute rectals, Bharata Natyam to Bhangra and Perini to contemporary English plays. Further inside is the boating facility with both peddling and rowing boats. Shiparamam is a perfect place to take a day off from the busy city life.

What is a provisional Fire No Objection Certificate and for what occupancies it is mandatory to obtain Building permit?

A provisional No Objection certificate is issued before the construction of a building. As per section 13 of A.P.Fire Service Act any person proposing to construct a high rise building or buildings of public congregation like schools, cinema halls, function halls, religious places, which are more than 500 Sq. Metres in plot area or 6 metres and above in height shall apply to the Director General or any member of the service duly authorized by him in this behalf, before submission of such building plans to the authority or officer competent to approve the same under the relevant law, for the time being in force, for a No Objection Certificate along with such fee as may be prescribed.

Salarjung Museum
Situated on the southern bank of the river Musi, the Salarjung Museum is the third largest museum in India housing the biggest one-man collections of antiques in the world. It is well known throughout India for its prized collections belonging to different civilizations dating back to the 1st century. Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III (1889-1949), former Prime Minister of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, spent a substantial amount of his income over thirty five years to make this priceless collection, his life's passion. The collections left behind in his ancestral palace, 'Diwan Deodi' were formerly exhibited there as a private museum which was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1951. Later in 1968, the museum shifted to its present location at Afzalgunj and is administered by a Board of Trustees with the Governor of Andhra Pradesh as ex-officio chairperson under the Salar Jung Museum Act of 1961.
The Salarjung Museum is a royal treat to the connoisseurs with a collection of over 43000 art objects and 50000 books and manuscripts. The collections include Indian Art, Middle Eastern Art, Far Eastern Art, European Art, Children Art along with a Founders gallery and a rare manuscript section. Indian Art includes stone sculptures, bronze images, jade carvings, painted textiles, wood carvings, miniature paintings, modern art, ivory carvings, textiles, metal-ware, manuscript, arms & armour etc. Middle Eastern Art contains the collection of carpets, paper (manuscripts), glass, metal-ware, furniture, lacquer etc. from Persia, Arabia, Syria, and Egypt. Collection of Far Eastern Art exhibit porcelain, bronze, enamel, lacquerware, embroidery, painting, wood & inlay work from China, Japan, Tibet, Nepal and Thailand etc. Oil and watercolor paintings form an important part of the European Collection.
This museum houses one of the biggest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. The objects d’art include Persian carpets, Moghal miniatures, Chinese porcelain, Japanese lacquerware, famous statues including the Veiled Rebecca and Marguerite and Mephistopheles, a superb collection of jade, daggers belonging to Queen Noor Jahan and the Emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan, Aurangzeb’s sword and many other fabulous items.
The museum building in a semicircular shape with 38 galleries spread on two floors displays only a part of the original collections. The ground floor has 20 galleries and the first floor has 18 galleries.
