Shilparamam
The road straight ahead from Jubilee Hills leads to Hi-Tech City and then to Madhapur. At Madhapur are located two attractive spots of Hyderabad — Shilparamam and Durgam Cheruvu. Shilparamam at Hyderabad is an arts and crafts village exhibiting various art forms and handicrafts of diverse artists from all over the State. You can buy absolutely traditional souvenirs for yourself and your friends when you tour Shilparamam. Shilparamam hosts a multitude of ethnic art and crafts from all over the country. The yearly All-India Festival of Arts and Crafts held here in February highlights the cultural and creative traditions from every corner of the country and provides a unique occasion to take home a piece of Indian art. Interested buyers can come and pick up objects of art directly from the artisans without having to deal with the middlemen.
Every season at Shilparamam brings with it the atmosphere of festivity and an occasion to celebrate. Here, Indian festivals are celebrated in the most conventional way and these festivals bring together talented people from all over the globe. As you go further inside, you can enjoy boating facility in a small artificial lake. The lake offers both peddling and rowing boats. Shilparamam is the perfect place to take a day off from your busy city life.
Durgam Cheruvu — located in the vicinity of Madhapur — is a lake surrounded by huge rocks, popularly known as the Hyderabad rocks and dating back a few centuries. The place provides the visitors with pedal boating facilities before the sunset, organized by the APTDC. Don’t forget to take a dekko at the Hi-Tech City on the way! Another attraction at Madhapur beyond Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad is the 30-acre village, which showcases arts and crafts of the country. India is an ocean of various arts and crafts but the talent of most of the artisans and artists goes unrecognized. To encourage them and give the necessary boost to their art, the crafts village hosts annual bazaars, where artists and artisans from all over the country exhibit their talent.
About Shilparamam 
Less than an hour's drive from the city of Hyderabad is Shilparamam, a crafts village where, throughout the year, there are a series of cultural events. Shilparamam plays host to myrid traditions of arts and crafts of India. This is a home to thousands of visiting artisians, a temple to thousands of performing artistes and a breath of fresh air to lakhs of art and craft lovers.
A Cultural Center 
It is spread over 50 acres of land. The vast expanse of land of this enchanting village is a gift of the Andhra Pradesh government to the South Zone Cultural Centre. In its complete form, Shilparamam will have Crafts Museum, Cultural Museum, Art Gallery & Library, Multi-purpose Auditorium, Common Facility Workshops, Research & Design Center, Dormitory accommodation for participating or visiting persons and artists & Rest Houses.
Annual Festivals 
Since 1995, an annual festival of arts and crafts is conducted in the first two weeks of March every year when artisans are invited from all over the country. Cultural activities are also held during the ten days of Dussehra in October and during the Sankrant Sandadi festival of harvest in January. Here Indian festivals are celebrated in the most traditional way and unique festivals bring together talents from the world over. The festivals of Shilparamam include as The International Kite Festival, Navarathri, South India Festival, Sankranthi Sandadi, Ugadi, Annual Crafts Festival etc.
The Hyderabad Haat
The crafts fair is organised once a month bringing exclusive crafts from different States of the Country. And through the recently started GRIHA BHOJAN Centre, the most diverse of traditional native delicacies of various cultures are cooked and served by women in the most traditional way.
Other Attractions Within Shilparamam
At the heart of this picturesque crafts village, is an amphi theatre that has staged performances ranging from classical music concerts to flute rectals, Bharata Natyam to Bhangra and Perini to contemporary English plays. Further inside is the boating facility with both peddling and rowing boats. Shiparamam is a perfect place to take a day off from the busy city life.

Shilparamam, there is an educational center which organised series of workshops, training camps and short term training classes.
